Most productive exercise order in leg circuit
I just commented on a blog post on a leg circuit. The exercise order was reversed compared to what you see below:
The circuit looks productive and hard! However, it seems that the goal of the exercise order is to pre fatique the legs before the jumps?
This however violates the rule of "descending neurological demand". If following that rule the exercise order would be.
24 Jump Lunges (12 per leg, immediately followed by…- single leg power.
24 Jump Squats - bilateral power
24 Alternate lunges (12 per leg, immediately followed by…)- single leg strength
24 Bodyweight squats (immediately followed by…)- bilateral strength
Your poweroutput and jumpheight would be higher in the jumps by doing them first this would mean more total work done in the circuit, this should mean a greater hypertrofi stimulus?
Any thoughts or experiences?
